This adorable vintage embroidered linen purse with a drawstring closure is really special. A small purse/pouch that is just simply fun to carry. It is approximately 9.5″ wide and 11″ long with the handles. It has a drawstring closure with embroidered eyelets. It didn’t come with a ribbon drawstring, so I used a bit of trim in its place to show how it closes. I think a piece of dark green velvet ribbon would just be beautiful! I believe it is a linen/hemp material (tan), but there is no label. It has been well-loved as it shows some wear and a few light stains as shown in the photos. The underside of the handle lining has worn threads, but the handle is sturdy. I would like to think a gentle hand washing (or dry cleaning?) would remove some of the stains. I have carried this purse several times and got compliments every time. Worn but worth loving.
